And not a moment too soon. Having lived in the UK, US and Australia I can, without a doubt, say that the penny is the most useless waste of space in my wallet. In Australia the smallest denomination is the 5c coin (and even that is kind of getting annoyingly small).

Honestly I think I'd be quite happy to never use a coin smaller than a quarter.
