I like that Samsung has decided to get behind NFC technology and try and encourage people to make better use of the technology. NFC tags are cheap, reusable, can store more data the QR codes and also don't look like Android Barf (to quote +Tom Cramer). The big downside so far is that uptake has been very slow.
Samsung's idea of providing programming software and "TecTiles" branded NFC stickers is pretty cool. About my only complaint is that they're about three times the price of NFC tags you buy elsewhere.
