Awesome!!! That's Rium+.

Mike Frankham
Damnit! THIS WAS MY IDEA! IF ONLY I'D DONE IT AT SOME POINT OVER THE PAST SIX YEARS! THIEVES!

Mike Frankham
Actually, no, he went WAY further than I was planning to. I was just gonna have an ornamental video.

Matt Giuca
Yeah. This guy is one of the biggest fans of the Myst universe ever, so it's probably more fitting for him to have done it, and gone way way overboard.

David Coles
+Mike Frankham Clearly you should have patented the idea, since you don't have to actually build it, just that you could (hell, you don't even have to be able to build it, just need to convince people that it might be possible...). [/minirant]

David Coles
+Matt Giuca Ah! I thought that might have been another D'ni world like "Shorah". Didn't realize that was his screen name. :)

David Coles
+Mike Frankham Minirant directed at patent system, not yourself. Would still be a fun project to "Make you own Android tablet in a book".

Mike Frankham
Back in the day, I was planning to just use a digital picture frame that was video-capable, just because wasting that much computational power on an ornamental Myst book that just played linking videos seemed insane.

Mike Ando
Hey, that's my Myst book! Glad you liked it :D  If it makes you feel any better, most of that 6 years was just finding a good-condition copy of the original book. Only in the last year did the miniaturisation of x86-based computers reach the point where I could squeeze everything in.

(Don't mind me, just Googling to see where all my links are coming from... :p )
