I feel a little bad for posting something like this (geek snobbery?), but to anyone who works with URLs and Unix paths all day, this stands out like a sore thumb.

I used to do children's drama, and we had to do a play about the Internet. The very first line of the play was the entire cast saying in unison "H T T P Colon Backslash Backslash." I was all "WTF... can we change this line to 'slash'?" And they were all "nah, it's in the script!"
