UK to adopt polymer banknotes. I think the only real downside is that Australia is no longer the only country with bright and colourful banknotes.

Sorry, there should have been an "also adopts" since the Canadian adoption is still kinda new. ;)
I'm actually curious to see if it's the same RBA/CSIRO/University of Melbourne technology used by Australia and Canada.
